Running Like a Girl

Happy Monday!  I was so excited last night for the premiere of a new season of the Amazing Race.  I think that show would be so FUN to be on, unless I would have to bungee jump or eat something really gross.  And coming later this week is all new Survivor!  Yay for fall TV!

A friend sent me a few pictures from the race Saturday.  This was coming towards the finish line, I was pooped!  I thought I did worse than last year at this race, but I went and looked at my times yesterday and turns out I was faster than year.  I like it!
There was a tornado last Father's Day in 2010 at the race location which is also the county fairgrounds so they are just finishing up repairs to the parking lot.  I think everything else has been fixed.  Montana isn't really in tornado alley but we get them occasionally.  No one was hurt and it ripped the roof off of the arena.  Luckily there was nothing going on although the night before there had been a big concert.

Does it make you sad when you lose a follower?
Maybe at first but I do understand. I have dropped some blogs too along the way.  You can't please everyone!

    I take it a little personally when I lose a follower, but then sometimes I get 2 new followers in a week, so it's all good.

    I too love racing. After my 1/2 (this weekend!!!!) I am focusing on speed and strength training because I want to place or at least race much faster.

    YES! it makes me so sad when i lose a follower! haha. i am always like "oh no...what did i do!!?!" love those pics and still loving your race outfit!

    We LOVE Amazing Race in this house! I still watch Survivor, but AR has taken over as my favorite!

    I have so few followers that I notice each and every one. lol I haven't lost anyone yet..... I swear only about 5 people actually read my blog anyway. lol :)

    I lost a follower too recently. Maybe it's the same one! I have to remind myself that it's probably nothing personal...

    Fall TV Premiere week TOTALLY snuck up on me. I actually watched and enjoyed Grey's Anatomy for the first time in a while. I decided I'm just not interested enough in Glee anymore. I'm also excited that Sister Wives is back...

    I like the daily reminder to vote so keep them coming. Why I can't just bookmark the page and remember to do it myself I don't know!

    I haven't had anyone unfollow me YET but I unfollowed several blogs lately that I'd been reading daily and commented on often but they never returned the love. You're such a sweet and courteous blogger that I say oh well, their loss!

    It would make me sad to lose a follower, but man, there are a lot of blogs out there and no time to read all of them. I've un-followed a couple of people myself recently (I won't ever un-follow you, though!).

    I lose followers on facebook and on my blog often enough. I think it's because people sign up only for the purpose of winning contests and when they don't win, they delete themselves.

    I used to get way bummed... now it's just a very brief twinge. I understand why some people choose to no longer follow me... I am a total wacko. Not everyone can handle it :P

    I'm sad that you lost a follower, but you just gained one with me! :) I ran my first half marathon this weekend in Akron, OH and just signed up for the Spokane, WA half on Oct. 9!! :)

    Amazing Race is my top favorite show! I love it. I wish it was on all year long!

    I do get sad when I loose followers. I wonder why and who it was...but I get it. See it was not me!! not a chance!!!

    I think I am also addicted to race. I would do one every weekend if I could!!!

    I love the Amazing Race. One of the only shows we watch as a family.

    I get a little sad when I lose followers too. I just lost 2 the other day. But, then again, I weed through my blog reader sometimes too. I figure I've got lots more followers now than I did a year ago...

    Posted on my blog today to remind people to vote for you! Right after I mentioned your big WIN! There was one week that I lost 3 followers and I was SO SAD. I didn't know what I did or didn't do! I'm assuming some people just follow for giveaways and then drop you when it's over. Who knows. It doesn't matter though. I love all of my followers!
