ZipFizz Revview and Giveaway

I was recently given the opportunity to try out Zipfizz, which they are billing as the healthy alternative to energy and sports drinks.  I wasn't really sure what to expect.  The flavors sounded yummy orange soda, pink lemonade, grape, berry, and citrus.  They come in little tubes that you pour into water.

Here is what they say about it
Zipfizz is an all-natural, great tasting energy drink-mix powder that delivers a powerful charge of micronutrients to the body's fuel system. It contains no ephedra or other artificial stimulants. Most people experience an immediate, revitalizing burst of energy after taking Zipfizz.
Zipfizz is healthy energy in a tube! Give your body a rush of vitamins, minerals and key amino acids to protect the immune system. Zipfizz has created an advanced formula that provides  a significant amount of vitamins, fewer calories, lower carbohydrates, superior taste, variety and unique packaging! Simply put, it's different because it's good for you!
Because Zipfizz contains no sugar, users will experience an increased energy level for up to 4 - 6 hours with out the sudden "crash" associated with other energy drinks.

If you have questions about Zipfizz check THIS out.

Orange soda is my favorite flavor.  Takes just like orange Crush pop.  It is a little sweet. I wouldn't run with it in my water bottle but it was a great little hydrator pick me up 20 minutes before I went out on my run.  I felt great on my run and still ate some Gu halfway through, and was glad I never got orange soda burps like I was afraid I might.

Grape tastes just like grape juice.  If I had not mixed it up myself I would have thought it was grape juice.  I drank it on my way to work one morning.  I usually have a cup or two of coffee in the morning and then have no more caffeine for the day so this may have been a little much for me. My co worker Sarah noticed I seemed really energetic.  Okay her words were more like "Are you on cocaine?"  Of course she was kidding but it was funny that she noticed my energy level was boosted.

I have yet to try the Berry and Citrus Flavors, but if they are anything like the others I am pretty sure I will love them!  There flavors are seriously yummy.

The cost seems a little high to me for day to day use at 8.99 for a 5 flavor sampler pack and  37.99 for a box of 20 tubes.  That is almost $2 a tube.  I am not sure how this compares to other energy drinks since I don't usually use them.  I have never tried Red Bull, okay once I did but it was years ago with some Jager late at night and I know I wasn't a fan of it then.  I would consider buying some Zipfizz tubes to have on hand when I am tired or run down, but I hate to rely on things like that for energy.  I also thought the packaging a bit excessive, but handy to use.

Want to win and try it for yourself? The winner will get one tube of each of the five flavors.

  5. Does coffee count as an energy drink? Normally I don't like to drink my calories and coffee is my only exception because I need to have sugar and creamer in it!
