I didn't sleep very good last night. I hate hate hate being tired. just ask my husband, I am no fun when I am tired. I am feeling a serious lack of motivation today.
Maybe I shouldn't have had chocolate cake with my coffee this morning that always makes me feel like crap and I know it. Chocolate cake just goes so good with coffee, so sue me.
I found this
and with that I am off to get in a workout and drink lots of water
I know when I am done I will feel better and more energized. I am also going to eat a HUGE veggie salad for lunch with a tilapia (not labia as my son kept calling it last night) filet. Hopefully that will detox my over caked/sugared up overtired system.
and hopefully the stars will realign and I will be able to get in a run. It is super foggy out today and I am hoping to run in the fog. It looks really peaceful.
Not sure the cat is enjoying this hug as much as my daughter is, but I do know she is a great hugger snuggler.
Have a great Monday!
Wat to get your workout in! I was about to go for a run, then the dog puked and I had to clean it up:( About to head out now. Foggy and 30 degrees here.
ReplyDeleteI meant Way:) P.S. chocolate cake in the a.m. Nice!
ReplyDeleteSo true!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI needed to read that today, after a morning nap on the couch... I headed out for a run in blowing snow!
ReplyDeleteHome after a half mile cause my knee protested but I am a happier camper

I had a day like that last week! Your run and salad will TOTALLY help.
ReplyDeleteThat photo/quote is going above my desk - SO TRUE! I can't blame you for the cake&coffee though. Hope you enjoy your salad yumyum!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute picture of your daugher. I am sending positive vibes your way and know that a run is just what you need to pull you out of the funk. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day Christy!
I hope the sun breaks through the fog! Love the fish story!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get out and get a run in today. You always have such amazing pictures.
ReplyDeleteI really hope you get in that run today!! Being tired stinks big time but a run can usually do wonders!
ReplyDeleteCoffee and chocolate cake, I don't blame ya, it's fab. Hope you had a great workout.
ReplyDeleteCoffee and chocolate cake - YUM! But I am sure once you start eating your salad and tilapia, you will get those sugar out of your system and you will feel better!
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of your daughter. She looks like she really love that kitty.
Don't beat yourself up. Tomorrow will be better. :)
Way to get it done even when you don't feel up to it, you always feel better in the end!
ReplyDeletemmmm chocolate cake.... but you're so right: it's a lousy way to start the day. Way to get back on track!
ReplyDeletewhy in the world does chocolate cake and coffee make you feel bad? If that's what I had for breakfast I'd be in a glorious mood!
ReplyDeleteHaha labia. I love kids. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job running despite not feeling gung ho about it!
I need to detox from sugar too! Salad and Tilapia sounds perfect.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute snuggler there :)
sometimes i toast the morning with a big ole pile of sugar, never ends well. makes me crabby and starving hours later.
ReplyDeleteis THIS true or what?! I'm thinking coffee and cheesecake not chocolate cake!
ReplyDeletei love running in the fog, everything looks so peaceful to me. Enjoy your day and I hope you feel more energized tomorrow
ReplyDeletei have a very set sleeping pattern and travel for work always throws me off, so I have to work really hard to be chipper those days :) hey I like sleeping!
ReplyDeleteI know at home a great big green smoothie helps, but on the road it's just lots of green tea.
Someone needs to tattoo that statement on my face, as I am constantly questioning where my motivation is. My butt needs a serious kick!
ReplyDeleteI am dying laughing at your son calling tilapia labia! Oh my gosh! I lose motivation when I am tired too. But I always feel better when I get out there and do it, it is the getting myself out the door that is the hardest! Hope you slept better last night.
ReplyDeleteMy sister "hugged" our cats a lot when we were younger and their faces normally looked like that too!
ReplyDeleteI looooove that picture of your daughter and the kitty :)
ReplyDeleteHopped over from Livin' the Fit Life. Thanks for entering our give away! and thanks for the motivation to exercise! I need it lots. Have a great day, Claire
