I did the Resolution 5k today but really ran 8 miles, seems like the more I run the less I want to just run 3.1 miles at a time if I have the time to go further.
I still have not bothered to get more ink for my printer so I took a picture with the computer again.
It was much nicer outside today than it was yesterday even thought the temperature is colder. The big difference was the wind. There was still a little wind today but compared to yesterday it was a light breeze.
It was a little overcast but with all this open road in front of and behind me, it was hard to not feel the excitement a new year can bring with it. All the possibilities just waiting to happen!
Happy New Year!
Happy new year! Funnily enough its 74 degrees here today!
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect way to start a new year!
ReplyDeleteHappy 2012!
Great job on your run! I too got out and logged my first miles of the year, but 4 instead of 8. Hope the weather continues to improve for you.

ReplyDeleteHappy new year Christy!!! I have so much catching up to do! I hope you had a fantastic holiday with your loved ones! Congrats on your first run of the year :) Can't wait to keep following you and your amazing accomplishments in 2012!
ReplyDeleteYou always have such gorgeous photos. We must have been living in the same weather conditions this week--the wind died here, too, and brought us a cold front. I went for a 3-mile recovery run myself. It was gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHere's to more good ones for both of us in 2012. I'm so glad I've "met" you and followed your journey.
great run Christy!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what 2012 holds for you. You are one talented and speedy girl Christy. Love the pics of the open road. Something about these open roads that I love so much. I don't remember the last time that I ran on a road like that where I could just run miles and mile...probably during college in Iowa. Loved running in Iowa. The fields were endless...so beautiful. IN all season. Such a time of solitude.
ReplyDeleteOur weather is crazy. Short sleeves one day and jackets the next. Rain and fog too.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful new year!
Happy new year to you! I'm so happy it's still relatively warm here. Your pictures of snow scare me.
