I was trying to figure out the GPS thing on my phone. That girl next to me is like "what are you doing?" Check out her long legs. She is 16 and I used to beat her, now she kicks my pants. Super speedy, she is getting awesomely fast.
and we are off, I finally had my GPS figured out, too bad it later fell and the battery popped out and I never really got to use it.
and finishing and trying to figure out how much of the course I missed and where. No way I could have finished a 10k in under 36 minutes.
2. I know people hate it when bloggers make vague announcements, but...
There is a strong possibility of plural Rock and Rolls in my future. I am beyond excited about it and will share more details soon when I have them. This will also increase my chances of getting to meet some other bloggers! YAY YAY and YAY!
3. Really after that what else can I say, but given the choice would you pick Savannah or San Antonio in November?
I LOVE your running skirt!
ReplyDeleteSounds like some really awesome news!
ReplyDeleteIt's really stressful to be fiddling with your Garmin/phone/whatever just before the race start - I know! Glad you gave some hints about your mysterious news - sounds fun!
ReplyDeleteoooh i can't wait to hear more about what is in store for you!!
ReplyDeleteYou looked super cute at your race. LOVE the skirt!
ReplyDeleteWhats the news??!!??
I think picking locations would depend on the time of year for each. Humidity and heat in the south is killer!
ReplyDeleteThat race is seriously so ridiculous!
Love your running skirt/outfit! I'd love to do a R&R-they sound like a blast!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear all about your news!!! Whatever it is I'm sure you deserve it all!!! Love the pics...funny what we are caught doing!! Yes and that girl's legs are about as long as I am tall!!
ReplyDeleteOK You shouldnt leave us hanging like that. Ha. Cant wait to hear more. I get panicky when my ipod doesnt work right at the began of a race.
ReplyDeleteRock n Rolls are sooooo much fun! I am happy that you can run one and maybe even more then one. :-)
ReplyDeleteLike how your starting line was just a crowd of people, I miss small town races.
ReplyDeleteSavannah is a cool town. That would be my pick. We just had a R 'n R half here in Portland last weekend. Didn't run it, but now I wish I had. Looked like a blast.
ReplyDeleteYour biceps are out of control! Give me some of that please.
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to go to San Antonio so that would be my pick for sure.
ReplyDeleteUm...love your running skirt, I'm sure you've mentioned this before but where is it from? And I hope you RnR news includes running Seattle :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to either place. They both sound fun! Can't wait to hear your news:)
ReplyDelete10K in 36 minutes would mean I missed a bunch of the course. Hehehehe.... :o)
ReplyDeleteI would pick San Antonio but I have a friend near there that I could visit too.
ReplyDeleteLove your skirt!! Is it Lulu?
ReplyDeleteSo exciting about your announcement!! If you get to run Seattle RnR let me know cause I'll be there!!! And would love to meet you!
You look so cute! I never look that good in any race pictures!
ReplyDeleteSo excited to hear your news- if it were me I would pick Savannah. I hear both places are beautiful, but I have always just really wanted to go to Savannah.
I won an RNR entry and am hoping to do the Seattle full next year :)- do that one!
You look adorable in that running skirt! Very stylish!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, WHO looks that good running?! Not this cat!
ReplyDeleteI'd choose Savannah. Love the history there! Most haunted city in America. :)

ReplyDeleteI have never been to either Savannah or San Antonio, but I would probably pick San Antonio. I have friends there plus you can go visit the ocean fairly easily.
