Hope everyone had a great weekend!
I had a great run Saturday with nearly perfect (cold) weather and then a less than great bike ride Sunday in really high winds, which wasn't very fun, but I did get 9 miles done. very slowly on the way back as it was into the wind.
What is motivating you today? or tell me one great thing about your weekend.
I love PicMonkey! Great sayings you found.
ReplyDeleteI had a great weekend of running--33 miles between Fri-Sun. Resting today!
I can't seem to muster any motivation today (or yesterday for that matter). I'm hoping a cup of coffee will help, though :).
ReplyDeleteI did the Color Run 5k on Sat it was alot of fun. Sunday it was back to the field. One more field left and we are done with harvest. Even though we got started early it has been a long harvest. Since the boys are both in college that leave just hubby and me. Prays the lord we do have a neighbor that comes after he gets off of work and helps when he can. He has 3 little ones so he is a busy guy to. Next year one of the boy will be home to help. I dont drink a whole lot, but I think I might just have a few when we get done. Cant wait.
ReplyDeleteMy 15k PR over the weekend has me feeling confident that my best friend can pace me to a sub-2 hour finish in a half marathon next month (without having to carry me!). Now, I just need to decide if I'm going to run a 5K next weekend or not. I'm leaning towards yes- I want another PR!
ReplyDeleteI hate running in the wind- give me snow, ice, sub-zero. Anything but wind! ;)
ReplyDeleteI did my 5th marathon this past weekend! Loved it and PR'd when I didn't expect to. I always feel so inspired after long races from watching others cross the finish line and seeing their joy and excitement. Gives me a good runners high for many days after.
Ran in the snow on Saturday morning, loved it!! Im in taper now for a 1/2 this weekend where we have a chance of rain and 20mph headwinds. Gotta love fall running in the West!
ReplyDeleteIt's warming back up down here--up to 75 today! I need motivation too--husband is out of town so I have to delay my run. I hate that!
ReplyDeleteGreat sayings, especially the first one!
ReplyDeleteIt was really windy during my run on Saturday, which made it absolutely miserable. Today I am motivated by my plan to do mile repeats after class because I know I am going to feel so strong once I finish!
I laundered all of the baby's clothes and got the hospital bag packed this weekend. Sorely lacking in the fitness department though. I cannot wait to get back!
ReplyDeleteFall running this the BOMB!!!
ReplyDeleteThis weekend was a blast for me, I got out to a Major League Soccer and had a blast! Our team won too! Got some baking done to boot, overall great weekend...
ReplyDeleteI love running in cool temps but biking in the cold wind is hard for me. I never want to get out the door for a cold ride.
ReplyDeleteLove the quotes and pics.
I did 3 hours of volunteer duty at the Victoria Marathon yesterday... helped get a water/aid station set up and then picked up paper cups for 2 hours solid! Sore back in the evening...
ReplyDeleteBut after we got cleaned up at home, we walked to the finish line to wait for the elite runners to come it - motivating for sure... but so were the folks who were finishing their halfs at over 3 hours and more... the oldest was a man who turned 95 today. We see him walk by our apartment every day - and today, after run/walking a half yesterday, there he was, out for a walk. WOW!
Great thing about my weekend? The EAGS won? :-)
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome....you can write on pictures in Picmonkey? Looks like I need to pay more attention!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the quotes and need to try Pic Monkey. Although you saying that you were "playing with Pic Monkey" kind of makes me giggle. Yes, I am 12. I am on taper and so I spent the weekend eating too much and not running enough!
