Yesterday I got out for a pretty nice run. I was going to do between 8 and ten miles depending on how I was feeling. Turned out I was feeling like a 9. i slightly overdressed for the run, but I hate hate hate being cold and would rather shed layers than wish I had more. It was about 27 degrees when I got done running.
Then I went home and finished making my new fleece snuggly pants. I figured sinceI was making some for the kids, I might as well make a pair for me too. I Talk about warm and snuggly!
Kind of like wearing a blanket.
What are some highlights from your Monday?
Do you play cribbage?
Can't say I even know what cribbage is; I think it sounds like a prison game. Ha. Mondays are all about getting back into my jobs (teaching and training). I think I was successful at both. Those fleece pants look comfy - dri-fit?
ReplyDeleteI love cribbage! My family plays, but my husband has no idea what it is, so he won't play with me either.
ReplyDeleteLove my fleece pants! I always buy them at this time for $8 at Old Navy!
ReplyDeleteMy highlight from Monday was because of a student. One new vocab word was "swagger." I chose Lorenzo to demonstrate the word. Oh yeah! He had his swag on for sure! We all had a good laugh!!
I don't know how to play cribbage. I am not very good at games. I don't like losing and I get distracted.
ReplyDeleteLove your snuggly pants! I like to wear things like that around the house. Especially during the winter.
My Monday was yet another crazy day. I worked over 10 hours to get home just in time to head to FGF. Got my butt kicked there and now I can hardly move today. :/
I used to play cribbage with my dad when I was a kid. Not sure if I would remember how to play now, but I used to have so much fun playing:) Love the pants!
ReplyDeletenot sure what cribbage is- card game? 27 degrees?!?! yikes. I was looking at a potential Montana race I found in Bozeman because flights aren't bad there- I have 2 questions for you:
ReplyDelete1. What is weather (temp / wind wise) like in March
2. Have you heard anything about the Run for the Pub race? http://www.pub317.com/run-to-the-pub.html
There isn't a 2013 date listed yet, but I'm hoping since its been around for a few years that they just haven't updated their website yet
I have no idea what cribbage is.
ReplyDeleteThose fleece pants look warm and cozy. :)
The highlight of my Monday was watching Anthony Bourdains "they layover" Sao Paulo Brasil episode- made me super pumped to go see many of the same places next month when I visit.
I've never played Cribbage in my life but I know my mom always tries to bust it out over the holidays. I don't have the patience to learn :)
ReplyDeleteLove the blanket pants. Not good at Cribbage.
ReplyDeleteThose pants are amazing! I must make some for myself since the dog always hoards my blanket!
ReplyDeleteMy ex-BF used to wear fleece all the time & I hated it. But I got myself some fleece socks & tights & totally understand why people love fleece. I've never played Cribbage.
ReplyDeleteOverdressing when it's cold is the smart thing to do! You never know when something might pop up and you end up walking. then you can put layers back on when you start to cool off (not that I speak from experience...). I do love my fleece jammies- so stinkin' comfy!!
ReplyDeleteLove your pants!
ReplyDeleteYup, my Daddy taught me to play crib when I was a wee girl and just started to count. We played all the time and it was a big deal whenever I managed to beat him! He taught me how to play 3-handed too so we could include my sister sometimes.
that couch scene, complete with pants, looks like the perfect way to wrap up a 27 degree run. Sounds like a great morning for you!
ReplyDeleteI haven't played cribbage in years. I'll have to dust off the old set and whine when my husband beats me. Repeatedly.
unrelated: I think I figured out why I haven't played cribbage in years.
Goodness I would love to run with you!
ReplyDeleteLove the snugly pants!
Love cribbage. Have not played it since college. Looks like a great Monday for you!
ReplyDeletei dont know what cribbage is so you'd definitely beat me! those pants looks SO COMFY AND WARM!!
ReplyDeleteYou made your own pants!? How cool is that!? You look super cute in the picture :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pj's! They look so warm and cozy.
ReplyDeleteI haven't played cribbage in forever! I'll have to get my fam to play when we are there for Christmas.
I want those pants. Pair them with a snuggie and you are set for life!
