It's December still right?
The weather right now here in Montana is so nice. In the 50s in December! My little dog and I couldn't help but take advantage of the weather. With the kids in school we had lots of time to run and play.
Tuesday I ran in capris and a short sleeve shirt.
and we ran trails. So heavenly.
Wednesday I had plans to hit the trails again, but after spending all morning helping my Dad and brother vaccinate heifers I found I needed a nap after lunch. My full belly wouldn't have liked running anyway. I hadn't had a nap in ages and I have to admit that felt pretty awesome. After that I didn't have a whole lot of time so I just ran the roads close to home.

I have to work today, but hopefully I can squeeze in a couple miles after work.

That's great! I just got back from a trip from Texas to California with stops in Arizona, including the Grand Canyon, and we hit nice weather all along the way. Since I've been home, it's still been nice with sunny skies and temps up in the 60's.
ReplyDeleteIt was about 29 on my early morning run today. It actually felt really good (no wind) as I ran way too much in the heat and humidity this summer. 50 and sunny is ideal! Jealous.
ReplyDeleteIt's nuts! I ran in shorts and a tank yesterday too! I see snow in the forecast this weekend though, so time to bring back out the tights :)

ReplyDeleteHow on earth is it so much warmer where you are vs Chicago!?! I'm happy you and your little dog got to enjoy the warm front! This weekend it will be in the 40's here and I plan to take full advantage of it! :)
